As spring draws near in Adams County, Pa., we see the quaint town of Gettysburg and the neighboring areas preparing for a time of fruitfulness and beauty. Among other experiences, it signifies the beginning of outdoor adventures, live music overlooking breathtaking orchards and the opening of farm markets to purchase fresh locally-grown produce.

There is something to love about every season in Adams County, Pa., but when it comes to stunning views, springtime holds a special place.
Adams County is the number one apple producing county in Pennsylvania, meaning we have a lot of trees here. Orchards cover tens of thousands of acres in the county, where not only apples are grown, but peaches, pears, cherries, plums and a variety of other fruits as well.
