Wade and Drew Leedy of Tommy’s Pizza, Inc. in Gettysburg were gracious enough to have me come into their kitchen before their day gets rolling and learn more about this long-standing local and visitor favorite. Tommy’s, a family-owned business, has been perfecting pizzas and subs for 44 years. They pride themselves on homemade sauce, fresh grated cheese and dough that is made fresh daily. Lizzy is the Assistant Education Coordinator at Strawberry Hill Nature Preserve near Fairfield, Pa. – just 20 minutes down the road from Downtown Gettysburg.
