By Donna White – Anyone who knows me knows I love to cook, but I flat out do not bake. I love to eat baked goods, but I just haven’t mastered the art of actually baking them. I always walk by the case in Dunlap’s Restaurant in awe of the beautiful mile high meringue atop the selection of pies. I was so excited to get the opportunity to learn just how these tasty desserts are made from Shirley Marquardt, the resident baker at Dunlap’s. Not only are the pies gorgeous, they are absolutely yummy! You just gotta try one!
