By Donna White – Greek Pizza and a cold summer ale at 9:00 a.m. never tasted so good. Wade and Drew Leedy of Tommy’s Pizza, Inc. in Gettysburg were gracious enough to have me come into their kitchen before their day gets rolling and learn more about this long-standing local and visitor favorite. Tommy’s, a family-owned business, has been perfecting pizzas and subs for 44 years. They pride themselves on homemade sauce, fresh grated cheese and dough that is made fresh daily. More recently, they’ve added an extensive craft beer list to their menu.
I had the pleasure of helping Wade make a Greek Pizza, one of their specialties. Drew completed the experience with a great pairing of a Bells Oberon, a summer wheat ale. Both the pizza and the cold brew were just simply yummy! Check it out.
