One of the most incredible things about Adams County, Pa., is it’s farming community. Orchards cover more than 20,000 acres of land in Adams County, and those orchards provide both stunning scenery and unbelievably delicious fruit. Once fresh fruit season in Adams County begins, it seems like there is a new fruit or veggie ready to enjoy each week. We loved every moment of strawberry and rhubarb season, and now we are so excited to be enjoying fresh from the orchard cherries and plums! One of our favorite signs of spring in Adams County is the sight of fresh produce. Strawberries are one of the first fruits to become available during the Adams County growing season and aside from eating all the fresh strawberries we can, we know that we’ll be making these Rusty’s Red passion parfaits all season long.
